Went trough the form 1116 questionnaire, entered my carryovers and also carryovers for AMT purposes but at the end when I go to the print center and print my return I see only form 1116 and form 1116 schedule B, but the AMT versions are missing.
In previous years those forms have always been part of my return even when I haven't been required to pay AMT.
Does anybody know how to make TurboTax include the AMT version as well?
I'm worried that if the AMT forms are not included in my return I'll loose the carryovers for the AMT case.
PS: I'm using TurboTax desktop Home & business version for Windows.

Can you clarify if you marked the box to print all government and TurboTax Worksheets?
Can you switch to all official forms and see if it comes up? If not, respond and let us know and we will continue to help.
@BrittanySI've tried all the options, including all official forms, and form 1116 schedule B for AMT never shows up (only the regular form 1116 schedule B shows up).
Let me know if you have any idea how to fix it!
I would like to take a deeper look at this. However, I need a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:

Hi @BrittanyS
Done! How do you want me to share the token (I'm a little hesitant to post it publicly)?
Regards,
Hristo.
You will need to post the token here. The token will have to be converted to a tax file from our department's software before it can be used and all your personal information has already been removed. When you add the token put a period between each number due to it being redacted when it comes through because the system things its a phone number and tries to block it.
@BrittanyS see the attached screenshot with the token:
I use TurboTax Deluxe. To get the Form 1116 AMT and Schedule B (Form 1116) to be part of my mom's tax return I had to go into forms mode and open Form 6251 (Alternative Minimum Tax - Individuals). Line 40 in this form includes a check box for "Check to file Form 6251, even if not required". By checking this box, the 1116 AMT forms appear in the tax return.
Looks like my mom's taxes this year don't require Form 6251 and the 1116 AMT forms. Her CPA has been including them even though AMT has not been in her tax picture for years.
I hope this works for you.
The steps provided by SaraBP42 work to get form 1116 AMT to show. The form AMT has been excluded when it is not required. If you are still having issues have trying the steps above, please respond back and I will provide additional help.
@SaraBP42 @BrittanyS I tried the steps above and form 6251 appeared but form 1116 AMT and the corresponding form 1116 AMT schedule B didn't appear.
Any other ideas?
Any chance that your "Simplified AMT Foreign Tax Credit Limitation" is Yes? I do not use this method, but I believe that it means that the AMT versions of the 1116 forms are not needed as they match the non-AMT versions.
Your Simplified AMT settings can be viewed in Forms mode of TT. Open your Form 6251. In Part II, right above Line 8, is a little worksheet called "Simplified Foreign Tax Credit Election Smart Worksheet". Your settings are in it. Since I don't use this method, both of the No boxes are checked on my return.
@SaraBP42 Not really! "No" was selected. I'm attaching some screenshots of these fields from form 6251 and also the forms I see when try to print the return.
@BrittanyS @SaraBP42 Any other ideas?
Those are the same settings that work for me. I suggest that you call TT support.
