These messages you are posting to are from April 2022. The issue resolved itself. I have not begun my taxes yet this year.
Does anyone know if Turbotax has fixed this big problem for 2022 taxes? I haven't bought TT yet but if other software tools are working with the imports from ETrade, I'd be willing to switch and give it a try. Some have said it's a limit of number of transactions in TT but it never tells you this is the issue, just says no data to import.
It resolved itself for me and I was able to import all my Etrade information. I can't recall the details as it was almost a year ago.
2022 import for Etrade issue was not resolved event after April 2022, I was not able to import so had to use other mean to file my 2022 return. Not sure about 2023 but wouldn't want to go thru it again.
Interesting that you were able to successfully do it. I had trouble, even in October 2022 when I had to complete the filing for 2021 (I had my extension due). I eventually had to just enter some summaries and then send my etrade printouts to the IRS since they cannot be attached electronically.
It imported from e*trade for me today doing my 2022 taxes. I still have the mental scars from it not importing in 2021 🙂
