Error form 3468 registration number

still not work, after I enter TMXXX99XXXXX. there is  another error message: additional info 1: Link K-1 to form 3468 - each K-1 can be linked to a unique copy of Form 3468 (Investment Credit). The link will allow data to flow to the right form. Create a link or choose to enter form 3468 data manually. You should choose manually when more than one investment credit facility is reported on a single K1. 

after I click "continue", But they do not tell me how to create. show another error message, we  need a little more information before you e-file. if you dont have information, you can file your return by mail.

That's a different error. The one I reference is only related to it asking for a registration number.

This is on the IRS Known Issues Report. There is a workaround provided for this issue. If you enter ""TMXXX99XXXXX" on Line 2a, this will allow you to e-file.

• Well so much for the override of the issue with it doubling the information on form 3468. Let me file it, but it was rejected for this issue. Told me there was a fix coming on March 22nd so I'm stuck until then.

Sorry the override didn't work and thanks for the update on the expected date for the fix.  I signed up for updates on the issue but did not get any notice about that.

Also--can Catina or another TurboTax employee please clarify where the workaround for the line 2a registration number came from?  Was this a fix suggested by the IRS?

Have the same problems in here. Don't know which K-1 schedules triggered to file 3468. Seem those listed in 20. Except for the posted AJ, AG and several ZZs may cause this problem too.

I had the same error (spent 10 hrs having to demo on 5 different calls to get it escalated) - they recently fixed it.  You will run into another error though if you are a sole proprietor as the system requires Facility Registration Num in order to e-file.  I'm still waiting on a solution for that.
