Employers still have an obligation to send W-2's even if they close business. The IRS wants you to wait until February 15 for your W-2 arrive. If you do not receive it by then, follow the steps in the FAQ below.

If you cannot get a copy of your W-2, then you may be able to file your return using a “substitute W-2” but you will not be able to electronically file your return. To do this, you would need have your final paystub from December and file using the numbers on that final paystub.
