Electronic filing rejected SC state return

Turbo tax will not let me submit my state return.. I get an error message that says my spouse's birth date under the retirement income must be blank.   When I bank it out and resubmit the form, it gets rejected  saying the form can not be blank.  It is a viscous circle.

Try deleting the state and then add it back in.

Will I lose my data enter it and have to reenter it?

Most of the information for a state return is generated based off your federal entries.  If you delete the state, you will have to complete the state interview again, but the federal information will still carry over to the state.
