efile not accepted

I just efiled my federal taxes, joint filing, and recieved this message

IND-031-04 - The primary taxpayer's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year does not match IRS records.

I didn't efile last year so I left the PIN blank, what can I do to correct this?

AGI is 0 zero.

You need to create a 5 digit pin for you and your spouse.  I did not e-file last year, but you do need the pin numbers to have the return accepted.
