Just received email that zero for AGI worked and tax accepted; however, when
going back into Turbo Tax it indicates that the e-filing was rejected.
I'm confused. I logged out of Turbo Tax and re-logged back and the error or
file status still states ... filing rejected.
Not sure it would first say accepted, then rejected. Usually once a return is accepted, that is all you have to do. You can try e-filing again or check the IRS website Where's My Refund, it may take a few days to a week to show on the IRS website.
After several contacts with Intuit, I am informed that IRS has e-tax filing; however, my
desktop TurboTax indicates that it was rejected. So, I am still in a quaqmire and confused.
It's now April 15th and I have to make a decision on whether to mail in the federal tax form
or relie on the info that the fed IRS has received my 2021 tax forms. Confused.
Because an error still exists, I cannot e-file my state return because the fed shows an error on
the desktop software.
I've used TurboTax over the last 15 years and this is the 1st hurdle that I have ran across and unable to
correct. Although, the personnel were pleasant, I am still not at a point of satisfaction. I asked if it could
be my software and they said no.
This is an unusual event and I unresolved.
