Try this.

1. Right-click on the Turbo Tax 2020 icon on your desktop.

2. Select Compatibility.

3. Check the box "Run as Administrator."

4. Click Apply.

5. Click OK.

Double click the Turbo Tax icon to start the program. Updates should be loaded and the program will run properly.

it is now working after I stopped the service - update. Now the 2019 tax file opens and updates but the return is not fully complete. I have rechecked the same tax file on my original computer and it is complete including the evidence of fed and state efile. Any ideas?
