Document ID from my driver's license is not being accepted

an error appears that indicates "the document number's first 3 characters must be entered" but I have entered all 10 characters of the document number.

A number of NY folks are indicating you use ONLY the first three characters...not the whole number.

BUT FIRST...make sure you are using the right number

...depending on the license type...check the following pictures provided by NY:

AND, it is not the DMV ID number
