do I have to file 1040 and 1041

I have received  only1099's covering dividends paid for the whole year (2024) in the name of the deceased with the deceased ssn....do I only need to file a1040 for now and not 1041 since I have no income paid under the estate ein..the deceased date was may 2024...

do I have to file 1040 and 1041

The deceased needs to file a final 1040 for the year of death.  Since they were alive part of the year and all of the 1099s are issued to their SS# then you can just file a form 1040 for them and be done with it.  Since the estate has no income there is no need to file a 1041.
