Hi there,
So CryptoTrader.Tax (also known as CoinLedger) formats their CSV's specifically for your service, however, when uploading a CSV it is making me manually review hundreds of transactions. I'm following the steps both on this website and on CryptoTrader's website, but the system still makes me review these transactions and manually correct them one-by-one. This is tough because I have hundreds of transactions. Also, the system keeps asking me for a 1099-B from CryptoTrader, when in the past, all I needed to do was upload my CSV file from them.
Can anyone give insight into why this is now occurring when it wasn't last year or even a month ago? Did TurboTax change something on their side, like steps, etc? I ask because I followed the steps on adding crypto to TurboTax below and it still makes me review these transactions manually. Yet the guide mentions nothing about needing to do this.

complain to your service.
You're paying for a csv import with no issues.
I have the same issue with Koinly's CVS file and TT.
I wouldn't quite say that. I've never had an issue with these CSV imports in the past. Looks like to me that something has changed on TurboTax's end in that time
Interesting. What crypto exchanges do you use if I can ask? I use Coinbase Crypto.com and Voyager. Just wondering if it is mainly the exchange
I have this same issue. I uploaded the CVS file by using the CryptoTrader.Tax service last week without having the issue. I don't submit my tax to the IRS yet due to waiting for the donation report letter. Today I tried to upload the same CVS file and having the issue we are talking about. From that, I think that the Turbo Tax recently updated the software related to the Crypto's brought the issue, not the CryptoTrader.Tax service or other tax software service providers. Hope they fix it soon.
Same issue here. Upon reviewing one of the transactions, it appears that TurboTax wants a box filled in on how you receive the investment. See attached image. Also inspecting the cvs from CryptoTradet.tax (aka Coinledger), there is not a column to reflect this. Again see attached image. I am going reach out to Cryptotrader.tax as well.
Sorry for the ages, I'm currently on my phone.
I posted the same question on Reddit and someone replied that he bypassed the question page and submitted it to the feds and they accepted it.
I did the same after going through about 40 out of 500 reviews and noticed that my return stayed the same amount. So I submitted it to federal and state(oregon). The feds accepted it right way, but oregon rejected for a different reason. I resubmitted and Oregon accepted it also. So I think that it defaults as 'I bought it' when it's sent in. This was a less than a week ago.
I'm having this issue as well. I spoke with a representative from CoinLedger/CryptoTrader and they directed me here: https://cryptotrader.tax/blog/how-to-file-your-cryptocurrency-taxes-with-turbotax
In their article, they also suggest to skip through the review page by hitting the continue button each time it's presented. This seems odd and I'm hoping someone can verify that it's correct.
I have the exact same issue. Any resolutions so far?
Here is the fix with the issue. https://cryptotrader.tax/blog/how-to-file-your-cryptocurrency-taxes-with-turbotax
Important Note: Do not be alarmed if TurboTax asks you to review each imported crypto transaction individually within the the completecheck™ to-do list. Your cryptocurrency transactions have already been reviewed from within CryptoTrader.Tax. You can skip this individual review process by scrolling to the bottom of this page (sometimes hundreds of transactions) and clicking continue.
Just by-pass it by going to the end to file. I tried several times to upload again & it did not work each time. I just by-passed it like some others suggested & was able to file it. Also just found out that my Federal return was accepted. So just by-pass it.
I hope you see this. I had the same issue and figured it out.
They changed their name to coinledger and if you select this option prior to upload you will be able to file without manually reviewing everything.
Go to the income screen and delete the entire crypto trader you previously uploaded. Then rue-load it and select coinledger. You will now be able to file the return without manually doing anything.
