Here's the format. Only QQing after this should be by people who never should have bought crypto.

That's not the point, I'm already paying turbo tax & probably payed $100s-$1,000s to coinbase. If they're partnered together it should be an easy upload of my CVS file, but they're trying to scam us out of more money to use coin tracker. It's the principal!
Need an update on this TT.
I had the same issue as everyone else, saw a reddit thread where someone suggested this and it worked for me. https://help.cointracker.io/en/articles/2653799-using-cointracker-to-file-with-turbotax?fbclid=IwAR1...
Hello,
Are there any fixes for this yet? I'm having the same issue.
Same issue. Please fix. Thanks!
Today I uploaded Robinhood CSV file which worked like a charm.
I had to manually type Coinbase info but if coinbase csv can be configured to Robinhood style, I think it would work.
Thank you for being the only person to even try to help us. Everything has been outdated links or ones that tell me I don't have access to read them from employees.
I think the real problem lies with Coinbase. They need to reformat their file so Turbotax system can read it. The data lines does not align as turbo tax wants it. If Robinhood can do it, why can't coinbase?
It seems Coinbase is trying to get people to buy into CoinTracker.
So I tried it and it worked. I configured the coinbase file the same way Robinhood file was and it worked. All you need is 5 columns - Asset Name, Received Date, Cost Basis, Date Sold and Proceeds. (Cost basis is what you paid and proceeds are what you get and not the profit/loss).
It is easier than manually typing in TurboTax but the hard part of figuring out all the transactions is still there. I can not believe how simple this fix is and coinbase is not doing it and pushing people towards a paid service on top of super-high fees.
Yea, I also had the same issue, but Cointracker free worked for me, as had less than 25 transaction.
for your coinable csv.
you may have create new csv file, if you don't want to pay cointr with only these fields.
Asset Amount | Asset Name | Received Date | Date Sold | Proceeds (USD) | Cost Basis (USD) | Gain (USD) | Type (long/short) |
