My ex-husband (her father) is disabled and receives ssdi benefits and she gets dependent benefits. When we divorced, I got full custody of our 6-year-old and the benefits were deposited in my account in lieu of child support. Do I need to report this on my taxes?

You do not report a dependent child's Social Security benefits on your tax return. If the child has no other income they do not file a tax return.
Thank you so much!
