Even if one has mixed lots of ESPP and ISO and cost needs to be adjusted for each lot?
Trying Thursday on Mac. Updated Local Area Network access for TT 2025 to allow. Note that this is in Settings > Privacy and Security. Updated Safari to allow popups and disabled content blockers. While the import states that it ran successfully, it didn't pull any data. I also checked the CSVs and XML files that were out on Schwab and they appear to be complete.
Leaning towards changing the default browser (currently Safari) to see if that yields more success.
Today Schwab 1099 PDF, XML and CVS finally displayed. Logged into TurboTax and imported Schwab files without issues. For future, the 3 formats have to be available before importing into TurboTax.
For what it's worth, I had no success with Firefox or Brave on Mac.
strange that I've all 3 formats available for days but the lots are missing in CSV/XML and still nothing to import. Sigh. I hope they're doing this in batches and my lots will eventually appear.
2/27 Still not getting data from Schwab or Ameriprise
Within Schwab you may have to go into Security settings, then to Linked Apps and remove prior connections to Schwab. Open TurboTax and delete any 1099 connections to Schwab, then restart application. I had to do that to clear any old cache. Restart TurboTax and make connection and Import. May have to do a few times to see if Import worked.
Also there should be data in PDF, XML and CVS. If not, in my case I had to contact Schwab support to re-load new files.
Ultimately, I decided that making progress was more important than the download. Entering the totals using the guided input from TT went quickly. I understand that this might not work for all people.
I reached out to them and they opened a ticket. Let's see how quickly that happens. Keying in 100+ transactions is what I'm not up for, especially when I do 2 tax softwares for comparison and catching any errors.
