Can't transfer 2023 taxes into 2024 program; macOS

Despite locating and selecting my last year's taxes, they are not getting transferred into this year's program. It just puts me back on the 'front' page again.

 

Mac OS Sonoma 14.5

are you trying to transfer using a .tax2023 file not a turbotax .pdf file?

Also, in addition to needing the *.tax2023 data file, you can only transfer into a brand new return.  Did you follow these steps?
