The Home & Business Desktop program? What is your question?
I bought the cd or download Home & Business. Apparently my iMac is not a high enough OS (I have 10.13.6 High Sierra) and the sw needs 10.14 or later Mojave). I cannot update my iMac.
Do you have a solution?
Well, I did not get a reply but I did find two answers that may help someone else:
1. My iMac is a mid-2011 machine running OS 10.13.6 High Sierra. TT 2020 Home & Business requires 10.14 Mojave or later. Apple does not allow updating High Sierra to Mojave. Is there a cheat that I can use to download Mojave? No, because my graphics processor, GPU, is incompatible with Mojave.
2. I bought my TT 2020 Home & Business at Costco. I opened the package to get the software license code. Chat at Intuit said I can still return the opened package to Costco. That is what I'll do.
A third question is can I run an on-line version of TT 2020 Home & Business? Intuit offers an on-line product but it does not have the same name. I don't know if I can trust it to complete my taxes.
Yes you can use the online Self Employed version. It is the same as Home & Business But there are differences between the Desktop program and online.
If you used the Desktop program last year here’s How to transfer into the Online version, expand the blue link if you used the CD/download last year
If you used the Desktop program before you may notice several differences and not like the online version. It has less features and no Forms Mode. You can only do 1 return. Your return is only saved online so be sure to save both the .tax2020 data file and the pdf file to your computer when you are done. In case you need to amend in the future or if you need a copy to get a loan or something. You might not be able to access your online return when you need a copy.

The online "self employed" is the same as Home & Business. Online is more "hand-holding" and does not have the forms mode.
