Almost 40 days & still no refund

I filed my taxes on 3/20/2020. I recieved an email on the same day that my taxes were accepted by the IRS. It is now 4/28/2020 and I still have not recieved my refund. I have checked numerous times on the "where is my refund" page. Everytime it just says that my refund is still being processed and I will recieve a refund date when one is available. I have used turbotax for years now to do my taxes and the longest it has ever taken to recieve my return is about 3 weeks. Is it that things are just that backed up due to the coronavirus or could there be a problem with my return that I am unaware of? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!

5/6/2020 - still no return. I know they are backed up due to the coronavirus, but has anyone else had this issue?

Almost 40 days & still no refund

IRS operations are limited during the Covid-19 pandemic.  Attached is a link with more information as to what departments are available to contact at the moment.

IRS operations

The IRS issues a lot of refunds within 21 days, but it has been taking longer to process.  Part of it may be due to the IRS issuing stimulus payments as well as tax refunds.

The online link is your best option to track your refund.  I have attached a link with more answers from the IRS as to why your refund may be taking longer to process.
