I would like to make the Section 266 election to capitalize property tax on the vacant city lot I have been holding for investment, but TurboTax does not currently offer such a form. So I  guess either have to file a paper return or e-file and follow up with a paper copy with amended checked but otherwise identical, plus the attachment. To be safe I will send the first soon and the second before April 15. Could one of you in the Community suggest to TurboTax that they inform themselves on this topic?

It is a simple statement that is attached to your return and should not impede e-filing.
