2023 federal return rejected with error message an xml document that represents a binary attachment... filed 3/23/24

I didn’t take the deduction. Thus, there was no form 7206 generated.  I remember how  frustrated I was after been rejected four times. Until the fifth time I calculated the difference between deduction taken vs not, it made very little difference in my case, so I didn’t take the deduction. But it can be a very different case for you. So this is not an advice, rather an experience to share.

I am seeing this same issue as of 4/6/2024, rejected twice even though my return passes the review step with no errors.
