I didn’t take the deduction. Thus, there was no form 7206 generated. I remember how frustrated I was after been rejected four times. Until the fifth time I calculated the difference between deduction taken vs not, it made very little difference in my case, so I didn’t take the deduction. But it can be a very different case for you. So this is not an advice, rather an experience to share.
