I am a retiree and paid 2019 tax for $2132. I paid 1040-ES 2000 for $533 X 4. the same amount. This year when I filled in the data, it showed I have a refund for $5003. It seems the estimate tax portion is double. Does this make sense?

Without actually looking at your return, it is not possible to tell you what is causing your refund to be so much higher than expected. If you have a paid for copy of TurboTax and can look at your 1040 form, you will see estimated taxes on Schedule 3 line 12e.
You can sign into TurboTax on a browser and go to Tax Tools, Tools, View Tax Summary
That will show your total payments made, although you may have other withholding in addition to the estimated taxes.
If the estimated taxes are doubled, you can delete them and then add them again.
Where to enter estimated taxes
Thanks
