1099-NEC form box 7

My employer generated the 1099-NEC in TurboTax as usual.  Normally Box 1 is only filled in.  This year Turbotax seemed to pushed data down into Box 6 and Box 7 (despite she did not tell it to), where Box 7 is the same amount as Box 1.  My other 1099 and ones in the past never had an amount in any other box than Box 1.   Is this correct - Should Box 6 and 7 be populated or not?  And can you explain why or why not so we understand? I need to file my taxes correctly and right now but am afraid there is a mistake.  She has been calling Intuit, TurboTax and IRS and getting no where. Note her 1099-NEC has already been created and pushed to the IRS, we cant seem to get a corrected version generated, the software wont let her. Please help.

Box 6 and 7 only report the potion of Box 1 that was earned in a state.

If no state tax was paid (in box 5) it doesn't really matter.

Only Box 1 is reported as income.
