In the past, i could just EDIT the previous years 1099-INT and 1099-DIV. This year, it keeps going to import (and the bank isn't even listed) and the help page says "enter a different way" and that's not an option...?

desktop or online? there should be a button at the bottom for "Enter a Different Way" or "Skip This Import". Online will then present some other options to upload PDF etc at the bottom of that is "Type It In Myself"
if you are not seeing this please attach a screenshot here using the camera icon above the message box (do not include personal info) and maybe someone can help further.
If you choose to skip the import as indicated, you can simply enter the interest and dividends you received in 2026. You can use the instructions below, simply skip the import and either update the same financial forms or add them yourself by selecting 'Type it myself' as indicated.
There isn't an EDIT button...and if i click on the REVIEW, it still doesn't allow an update/change...just the UPLOAD option, that I'm not using.
So do i have to delete all the Previous listings and just start cold?
I am willing to 'flush' the $46.67 download for desktop if the OnLine version actually works as you all mention.
stick with desktop if it works, online will be more expensive and doesn't have Forms mode and only good for 1 return.
if it's yellow with "Needs Review" then click Review on the existing 1099 to edit it. If it's white and doesn't need review you can click the dropdown arrow to expand that item and that will show Edit button. You can also go into Forms mode and edit the 1099 worksheet directly.
Unfortunately there is no way to turn it off asking about import when you add new investment, just click Skip Import at the bottom of that screen.
I have found the navigation to sometimes have an inconsistent flow through Investment Income Summary list and import etc, but generally to add a new 1099 you should able to click Add Investments (at the bottom of the list), then Skip Import, select 1099-INT (or other type) and you should get the interview input screens.
If you get stuck you can return to Wage & Income by clicking the tab at the top, "I'll Choose What I Work On" then click Visit All in the Interest and Dividends section, or Update on the 1099-INT line item etc, and that should bring you back to the Investment Income Summary list.
Thanks. My "needs review" isn't yellow and doesn't allow me to click/edit ... and no dropdown arrow to expand/edit.
Truly an inconvenience...but appreciate you providing encouragement to stay the route with the desktop version i already bought. I'd actually stepped up my purchase of a new PC, too, since my old one didn't have the necessary Windows version for TT this year.
In the 1st screenshot you shared, at the bottom of the image next to continue is the Skip Import button. That should take you to the manual entry options you're looking for.
@jonm48104 in the example for Kellogg you posted, the whole panel for that 1099 is highlighted with yellow but you should be able to click the blue Review button
