Re: 1099-div for TOD decedent doesn't separate dividend

First, I am sorry for your loss. Second, TT does not permit efiling of a final return, so you will have to send it in in any case case. Third, what I ended up doing (if I remember correctly) is creating manually a bunch of 1099s (one for each box, essentially) so that I could have the deceased give different amounts for each box entry. Depending on the box, I still had to put in the same amount on box 1 (if I remember correctly), but you can test this out. This was the only way  I could designate payments that occurred after death to the estate representatives. I hope this helps.
