Qualifying Relative/Adult Child

Our 19 year-old worked less than half of 2021 and we paid more than half of his expenses for the year. He was not a student at the end of the year. Can we claim him as a Qualifying Relative dependent?

If he had gross income of more than $4,300 in 2021, then you cannot claim him as your dependent.

If he made less, then Yes,
