Private Bank in Bank of America

Does turbotax have download connection from http://privatebank.bankof america.com to get 1099INT, 1099DIV, and 1099B, etc.?

the selection on your list only shown 'Bank of America' which couldn't connect to the 'privatebank' account.

Please help?

If your bank is not in the drop down list of banks that are partnered with TurboTax to allow importing data, then click on "I'll type it in myself" and key in your information by hand.

also, you might check with a Private Bank  representative to see if they use separately-named provider for their tax import files.  Like Fidelity actually uses a provider called National Financial Services  (even though you can select "Fidelity" from the dropdown list and get it)

The desktop version does not seem to have an option to type in the financial institution. You can type in the box "I'm looking for", but if it does not find your bank, you cannot select it. When will Turbotax partner with Bank of America Private Bank? privatebank.bankofamerica.com?

TurboTax already partners with Bank of America.  Consult with your banker to see when they will connect to TurboTax.

In the meantime you can enter the forms you have received in the desktop or online version by clicking on 'I'll Type it in Myself' at the bottom of the form entry screen.

Apparently TurboTax's partnership with Bank of America is incomplete since they do not support a major part of this conglomerate. The bank bought Merrill Lynch in 2008, and you can import this part of their business, but not US Trust which they bought 2 years before. Why?

Yes, you can enter all the values in the 1099 forms into TurboTax, but it is error prone and very time consuming, especially the 1099-B when you have dozens of trades in the account. ☹️
