Printing old 1998-2010 .tax files

After I have purchased Turbox tax for over 20 years and Intuit has made billions off the tax payer they still don't offer this simple service.

Allow users with old Turbotax files (.tax) to simply print them to a pdf file. No need to view or modify just simply print the darn thing.

I don't want to download the software. If I have the ,tax file isn't it obvious I purchased the software.

I don't think I should have to pay again to get my file printed.

Come on Intuit how hard can this be,

It appears that you are aware of a service that can print TurboTax .tax files for a fee.

However, why do you need to print .tax files that are 12-22 years old?

what business is it of yours why I want to print 2o yr old tax forms.

They are my files, I can do with them as I please.

I was just commenting that Intuit should have a free service that allows me to print the files.

I paid for the software. Now I can't get to my info.

No.   You could have downloaded the .tax file for free from the Online version.  In which case you would need to buy the Desktop program to open it.

Can you elaborate on the service? Whom do I contact? How do I contact? How do I send them the file? How much does it cost?

You can try the TaxPrinter service to convert a .tax file to pdf at

They might be expensive and it is probably not safe to email tax returns back and forth. They are not related to Turbo Tax. I don't know if they can do State.
