Printed return to mail but did not mail and need to amend

I was having issues with my tax return I couldn't fix and it kept getting rejected, so I chose the print option so I could mail it. After selecting the print option, but before mailing it, I realized I need to make changes. I would rather make the change now than send in the return that needs corrections and then filing an amendment, but TurboTax does not seem to allow that. I tried the Add State workaround that was suggested in other posts and that did not work, there was no option to make the changes. Is there any way to update it in TurboTax since I have not mailed it and the e-file versions were rejected? I think it may be rejected again if I mail this in, how can I fix either the e-file or mail in option? 

Edit: I answered my own question, the Add State workaround does work, I didn't realize I had to navigate out through the menu on the left. It let me make my changes and then I was able to e-file, fingers crossed it is not rejected again.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2024 online tax return where you can make changes before filing

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
