Premier or Self-Employed version?
I usually get the TurboTax Premier version. However in the year 2016 I became a notary public and so would need to report some expenses and income from that. Please note that I don't have a registered business, just that I do notarizations for my colleagues while at work - the notarizations are not work related, they're non-work related for my colleagues. So should I get the TurboTax Premier or would I need to get the Self-Employed version of TurboTax? Thanks.

Premier or Self-Employed version?
TurboTax continues to make it harder and harder to use anything other then the most expensive version of online TurboTax - "Self-Employed" - if you want to put information on Schedule C. According to what we (SuperUsers) have been told any amount of self-employment expense triggers the need to step up the the Self-Employed version. If your expenses are trivial you might want to just ignore expenses and stick with "Premier" - if you really need "Premier" in the first place.
