Take a look at the following TurboTax article for some advice about what to do next: What to do if you suspect tax-related identity theft?
If you are getting the message that your return has already been filed and you used one of the non-filer systems to register for your stimulus payment, then that is most likely the source of the issue.
When using the non-filer system on the IRS website, your information is processed by the IRS as an original filed return.
Any subsequent filing submitted electronically will be rejected and must be mailed to the IRS for processing.
You can do this in a couple of different ways:
Don't forget that when you mail a paper return to the IRS, you must include copies of your W-2s and 1099s, plus you need to sign and date the return.
@mawaki28
I received a notice in my e mail that I had accessed my account from a different login in. I did not do that and have not used turbo tax for the last two years. Please find out what is going on!
Called the number listed on the e mail but did not get the problem resolved by the automated system.
Thanks

If you have already successfully efiled the 2021 return then if someone does try to efile another it will simply be rejected by the IRS ... there is nothing you need to do or anyone you need to call.
