The following answer is for tax years 2014 through 2018. For tax years 2019 and future years, the Obama Administrations Affordable Care Act penalty for not having health insurance was repealed by the Trump Administration.
If, between the two health insurance companies, you had coverage for the whole year, enter, "I had coverage all year". Please see the following:
