Phone Support VIrtual Agent Will Not Let Me Connect

I am running Turbotax 2022 Deluxe, the online version.

 

For more than an hour now, I have been trying to reach a phone agent. I spoke to one earlier; now the virtual agent doesn't recognize my support ID, even though I am providing them with the correct phone number and email, and it rejects my request and disconnects my call. This is insane. 

 

Is there someone in here who can help me get a callback from phone support, or some other way around this ridiculous screening process? What does it take to talk to a live human?

 

Specifically, for years now I have been trying for years to import my previous years' taxes into my new return. Every time I try this, I get the same error message: "We couldn't import your info. Check your internet connection, and let's try again."

 

They suggested disabling the firewall. I did this. Same error message. No help. 

 

Can somebody help me find a way to talk to a live agent? I work two jobs and have very limited time for this.

Please follow the instructions here to manually update the software, as this can often fix the issue.
