payment issue

I'm using desktop version of Turbo Tax Deluxe 2025. I keep getting the following error: "We are sorry, we are having trouble authorizing your credit card. Please verify your billing address, card number and CVV and try again" error. I've tried different addresses and different credit cards. Nothing works. Getting very frustrated.  How do I fix this issue?

payment issue

This can mean the billing address entered does not match the bank's records, or a security hold is in place. 

To fix this, 

  • Verify your card details, 
  • heck the billing address matches the tax return's address, 
  • Try a different browser/device, or 
  • Contact TurboTax Support
