Page: Source of 1099-MISC forces me to make a selection. I have royalty income from a mineral stock I own. Neither selection fits. What to do?

On option assumes I own property that I rent out and asks for the address, etc.  The other option assumes I operate a business and have business expenses.  Neither works.

Royalties are reported on Schedule E.  Schedule E has two sections the first has to do with rental properties.  Continue past the section on rentals and you will come to the section where you will enter your royalty information.
