I'm being asked to "Enter information from the Schedules D, Forms 1040, and Form 4952 of the other children of [My Name]" as part of the 8615 wizard for my children.
There are 6 boxes to fill in, the child's first name (I know this), then 4 lines from the schedule D and a line from the form 4952.
Neither child has a Schedule D or 4952. Do I just leave these blank?

Correct. Not everyone will have this, but the form does take into account the information if you do. When you print, your Form 8615 will be visible. The form shown in the previous post is the IRS form, which is the only version there is.
This line is not just about the child.
Schedule D Tax Worksheet. If the child, parent, or any other child has to file Schedule D and line 18 or 19 of any Schedule D is more than zero, use the Schedule D Tax Worksheet in the Instructions for Schedule D (Form 1040) to figure the tax. See Pub. 929 for details on how to figure the line 9 tax using the Schedule D Tax Worksheet.
Hi @ColeenD3 ,
Thanks for the response. For what it's worth, your 8615 does not look like the 8615 that turbotax has added to my children's Federal Forms.
Assuming the forms are otherwise equivalent, this particular wizard does not seem to be dealing with line 9 from the parents, our information it has already been filled in as part of another wizard (and appears in something called the 8615 D Wks and is reflected in a line 9 amount).
This is specifically referencing the other child's Schedule D, which does not exist. I'm going to assume the "has to file" language in your response means that it is entirely possible the children have not had to file a Schedule D and I can leave it blank, thank you.
Thanks,
Luke
