Oregon prepaid taxes for 2022

I've prepaid about half the 2022 taxes but there is no way to enter it in the tax form.  What is the answer?

Enter your estimated tax payments in Deductions & Credits. TurboTax will apply them to your state and local tax payments. State and local taxes are deductible up to $10,000 if you itemize deductions.

TurboTax will also carry the amount to your Oregon return.

1. Type estimated tax payments in Search (magnifying glass) in the upper right corner
2. Select Jump to estimated tax payments
3. Select State estimated taxes for 2022
4. Enter your quarterly payments. If you paid on different dates you can change them.

I made the change as instructed, but it did not change the tax I owed as if nothing had changed.

You don't say where you are using TurboTax Online or CD/Download.

If you are using TurboTax Online, check the OR Tax Summary to see whether your payments are in Total payments and refundable credits.

1. Tap Tax Tools in the left column
2. Then Tools
3. In Tools Center, select View Tax Summary
4. Select OR Tax Summary in the left column
5. Check the number in Total payments and refundable credits to see if your estimated state payments transferred

If you are using CD/Download, 

1. Tap Forms in the top right corner
2. In the left column, select Tax Pymt Wks in Oregon Individual. This will show you your estimated tax payments.
3. Tap Step-by-Step when you are finished to return to the interview mode

Without seeing your return, I can't tell you why the tax owed did not change.
