Open .tax2019 file and see the 1040 Forms in TurboTax 2020

Hi,

I have a .tax2019 file on my system (from my last years return). I installed 2020 Home Office edition 2020 on my system. I want to open the .tax2019 file and see the 1040 forms from 2019. I think I forgot to save the tax return forms in PDF format last year and this year I need to find the AGI from 2019 tax filing in order to eFile for 2020.

FYI-- the .tax2019 file is from a Windows system and TurboTax 2020 is installed on a Mac although I dont think it should make any difference.

Please help.

Thanks

ONLY the 2019 software installed on your computer can open a .tax2019 file.      You can transfer certain carry forward information into 2020 but not the forms.
