Tax Payment Worksheet: Line 1 State ID must be entered if a State payment is entered. Where do I find that number?

The "ID" for that sheet is the two-letter abbreviation for the state..not a number
i.e. NY -= New York

I saw the previous answers thsat said put in the state abreviation i. e. New York is NY but I tried for Georgia GA and it did not accept it.
@TomCanton Where do you need to enter it? The posts above are over 5 years old.
A prompt came up for something called "Interest Income Worksheet" with a small box that only accepts 2 digits or places. This is for the state of Pennsylvania.
The Interest Income Worksheet is associated with a Form 1099-INT. If you are seeing this pop up during an error check, the best course of action would be to go back to the Form 1099-INT entries of your return to verify that everything is entered. That way you will know the context of what it is asking you to enter.
