On my W2, box 16 is filled, but not 15 or 17. My state has no state income tax. I'm being asked for the number in box 15 since I filled in 16.
Some
customers do not have an Employer State Identification Number listed in Box 15
on the W-2. This is causing an error when going through Federal Review. If
employed and living in a state without income tax, remove the wages in Box 16.
If your state does have income tax, contact your employer for a corrected W-2
with their ID number.
