On my bank account information I forgot to add six zeros in front of my bank account number. At the moment I didn't think it would be a problem but now I'm a bit worried.

Will this be a problem?

The direct deposit will be put into the account that matches the routing and account numbers you entered. If you used the account number for your checking account, then that will be the account your refund is deposited to.

Many banks will make simple corrections when there is a minor error in this type of deposit.

If the refund can't be successfully deposited to the account you selected, the IRS may elect to mail a paper check instead.

So do ya add the six 0s that are in the routing number at the beginning or no?

It makes no difference.
