I am here to do my taxes. But if I should have a question that the decidedly low information help bot cannot parse or provide and I want to tap the wealth of knowledge that you volunteers have generously provided in these forums without leaving my taxes completely, the ONLY way to do that from the online TurboTax interface is to literally post a question to the forum.
Rather than muddy the waters by asking a question that I knew will have already been thoroughly explored, once again because of the contributions of time, energy, and experience that you and people like you have provided here, I drafted my forum accessing question as a meta critique on the nature of accessing the forums themselves.
So, I am here to do my taxes, champ. More specifically, I am on the forums to get answers to questions I do not otherwise have the ability to answer myself. The fact that Intuit placed an arbitrary obstacle between the user and this knowledge base, trusting that their machine learning pseudo-support bot would fill the gap if they just made it more onerous to access the information here - was a CHOICE. And not one that I as a user made.
To your second question; yes many. Though I think we should see other people. With your username, I was sure we would have so much in common and would hit it off. But your reply here is... less than ideal, and you will do better spending your energy elsewhere.
