Which info do i use from last year when there are 2 choices that seem alike ?

I have choice of last year's Tax Info

    2017 .......... Form 1040 Individual Tax Return or
~ 2017 ........... Form 1040.      ".         ".      "

What is the difference and which one is the newest ?

Oh the Tilde ~ files.  The ~ is a tilde file.   Those are temporary files that you normally don't see and normally are deleted.  But Turbo Tax is leaving them in the folder in case something happens like your computer crashes.  Then you can go back.  Just ignore them.
