The IRS only uses "occupation" for statistical purposes. It has no effect on your refund or tax due. "Student" would be fine. But....we cannot be sure if you should be using TurboTax---which is the larger issue.
If you are a non-resident alien, your return must be filed on Form 1040NR, which cannot be prepared using TurboTax. You can use TT’s partner, sprintax:
