Not Asking for New Key

My family usually shares a copy of TT, but with a growing family, we had to buy a second copy of TT for the returns.  However, several family members had already installed the original copy before reading there was the 5-user limit.  My brother in law uninstalled the first copy and installed the new copy.  However, it didn’t ask for the new software key for the new copy, and is still saying he has reached the five person limit.  Does this sound accurate?  Is there something that he needs to do to clear the old key so it will ask for the new one?

Not Asking for New Key

Oh there is now a way. Under Help - Switch Product - Activate new product. Don't know what that will do or what benefit you will get. Don't think it will allow you to efile more than 5.
