I did not have health insurance for 2 consecutive month for 2017. Will I have to pay back if I had insurance through the market place?

No, you shouldn't have to pay any penalties for having a 2-month gap in your health insurance coverage because you are allowed a short gap coverage during the year (less than 3 months). For example: If your health plan ended with your employer on February 18th you could be uninsured for the rest of February, March and April but you would need to have coverage in May to avoid any penalties.
If you
purchased health coverage through Healthcare.gov or a state Marketplace, you’ll
receive a 1095-A
form. We’ll ask you to enter the info
from your 1095-A in the Health Insurance section so we can calculate your
Premium Tax Credit.
Follow this link to find out what counts as health insurance, or call your health insurance provider and ask if your plan is recognized as minimum essential coverage.
