No EIN Number 1099DIV Sony

I own some shares of Sony. I received Dividends and entered them. Being a foreign company Sony does not have an EIN number (00-0000000 is listed on the 1099DIV). I contacted Sony and they confirmed they have no EIN number.

Turbo Tax does not like this and keeps rejecting it as being in error.

Everything was fine last year but not this year.

What do I do???

Better try 99-0999999. This seems to work this year.

I added all 1099DIV (1a) and the number is different from total on the list of income summary. While I entered the same in other software it comes out with the right #
