I have TRS deductions from my check. My w2 has them listed in box 14 shouldnt it be listed in box 12?

No- Box 14 is correct. There is no relevant Box 12 code for public retirement such as TRS. These contributions are post-tax and don't impact your tax return in any way. Its listed in Box 14 for informational purposes only. You can add it in and choose Other, or not enter it. Either option is the same.
