NJ return

There is a form called NJ-Bus-1NR. I entered data on a  1099-K, which linked with a Schedule C on federal return. However, all of the data (name of business, tax ID number) from Schedule C did not carry through to NJ-Bus-1NR. The total showed up but not the other data (bus name, TIN), even though it shows up on a NJ Bus worksheet.

This problem did not show up for a 1099NEC which flowed seamlessly from 1099NEC to Schedule C to NJ Bus 1NR.

So the software glitch is with the transfer from a 1099K  through Sch C through to the NJ form.

NJ return

TurboTax transfers data from your federal return to your state return. Before you begin troubleshooting your state return, go back through your federal return and make sure everything is correct.

After you review your federal return, select the State Taxes tab and review the state section. Pay close attention to the information, especially if you have made changes to your federal return. There might be new sections that need to be completed.

Will keep this in mind.  But in the meantime, you should check for software glitch.

I get NO error messages for Schedule C, either for Sch C based on 1099K or for Sch C based on 1099NEC.  So it should have transferred to NJ forms OK. It does for 1099 NEC , but not 1099 K. per my message above.

Check software.
