I'm sorry for your loss, but there are no tax law provisions for additional extensions.
The penalty for late filing is a percentage of the tax owed, so if you are due a refund, there is no real cost of being late, even past the second deadline. (The deadline may have effects on deductibility of late IRA contributions and a few other issues, but they are uncommon.)
The penalty for late payment is much worse than the penalty for late filing, so if you think you will owe tax, you should make a payment as soon as you can, at www.irs.gov/payments. Be sure to select "2016 form 1040" as the reason.
Turbotax Online will close for 2016 tax returns around October 20. To use Turbotax after that date, you will need to buy Turbotax on a CD or as a download, from Intuit or another retailer, and install it on your own computer. If you started your online file and want to use it to continue, you will need to download it to your own computer before October 20, because after that date, unfinished free returns are either locked or purged. Follow the instructions here. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3302260
You won't be able to e-file either, so plan to print your returns and mail them in.
If you are later assessed a penalty for being late, and this is your first time, you can ask for forgiveness. See these links.
