My wife quit her self employed consulting in 2015, but Turbo Tax 2016 went ahead carried forward her Schedule C from the 2015 version. How do I get rid of it?

If you want to delete Schedule C in TurboTax desktop, follow the steps below:

For Windows:

• Switch to Forms mode
• In the left pane, select the form you want to remove.
• After the form is generated in the right pane, click the Delete Form button at the bottom of the window.
• Follow any on-screen instructions to remove the Schedule C.

For Mac:

• Switch to Forms mode
• In the left pane, select the form you want to remove (if you don't see it, click Open Form at the top).
• From the Forms menu, select Remove Schedule C.
• Follow any on-screen instructions to remove the form.

If you want to delete Schedule C in TurboTax online, follow the steps below:

• Log on to your Turbo Tax Online account and open your return.
• Select My Account at the top of the page, then Tools from the drop-down box.
•  In the Tools box, click on Delete a Form.
• When the list of forms in your return appears, look for "Schedule C". If it is there, delete it. 
• Confirm that you want to delete the form, click Continue, then choose Continue With My Return (at the bottom of the list) to go back to your return.
